forgot to mention....i do use a 0.7 mechanical pencil for final touches on things like hair, eyebrows, etc.

Funny, because I thought you might have used multiple pencils and tools to do that kind of quality of work. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to search on YouTube videos today and see if I can learn some of those techniques. Did you learn your techniques from art school or through books? BTW, those are some of the best pencil sketches I've ever seen. Thanks again !!!

thank you very much!! i am self taught! i actually failed art in high school and i didn't go to college
i do use different leads, but not different pencils so to speak if that's what you mean? in my drawings i mostly use HB, 2B, 3B, 4B, and 5B
