Newest Painting...Dolphins

Thought I'd give everyone's favorite undersea mammal a try. This was a very enjoyable piece of work and it was quite a challenge to get that Dolphin smile just right. They are a lot of fun to paint and I think I'll be doing more of them.

Glad you like it, Carl. I came very close to overworking this. I was going to add more detail on the ocean floor and even one more Dolphin. But I finally said, "Okay, drop the brush and step away from the easel and nobody gets hurt!" I need to tell that to myself sometimes
And, thanks, I think I'll do that.

Yes. Leave it alone. We all know that the hardest part of painting is knowing when to quit. Of course you know you got one five vote coming if you enter it.
