acrylic 10in x 7in showing the old lifeboat station at North Shields. I have painted this scene in watercolour but I think that the acrylic one is better.

Great painting! I just love sillhouettes. The water is beautiful. The sky is beautiful. The detail in the pier and boathouse are awesome. The only issue I might have is the water's edge near the horizon. Should it reflect more of the orange of the sunset and then lighten the closer it gets to the viewpoint? It probably doesn't matter because the lighter water makes the sillhouette really pop. It's great!

I think you are right about reflections near the horizon. I think I was concentrating too much on the shadows of the lifrboat station and jetty.

All lovely and beautifully laid out - I adore that silvery water!
