Receiving A New Song

Postby Lorenzo Cassa » Wed Jul 31, 2013 7:58 pm

The title: "Receiving a New Song" is a reflection of how my ancestors must have had to have had a keen sense of hearing to detect any sudden changes in their immediate surroundings by listening to nature. How the stirring of animal or humankind would disturb the birds with even the slightest variation in harmony, bringing warning that something was amiss. Cognizance for a signal was also a way to pick up certain melodies in the chirping of the birds, that words were added too, turning them into songs.

So wonderful, everything perfectly bathed in gold and again, thank you for your explanation.
I do see a little superfluous brushwork around her upper lip? Just wondering. Thank You, E

Wonderful artwork. I agree with my respected colleague E that the mouth region needs a little modification. Well done all the same and I like your explanation.

Respect.

God bless.
