Sci fi Urban wasteland (watercolor on paper)

Ok, so here it is. My first watercolor painting. Not perfect but i learned allot about how water color works.
Any feedback is welcome as always!

Just want to add that I made ​​this pretty easy and not too much detail. To learn how water color behaves.

Already looking forward to the next! And then I will not hold back! =)

This is really a wonderful piece. I've always held the theory that a true artist can work with any medium and even be able to produce something marvelous even if it is the first time using that medium. You've helped to prove that theory correct with this piece. Looking forward to seeing what you do next with water color.

I'm in the same boat with Denny. I really like the way the geometry of the foreground/concret plays with the organic shapes in the background/sky. You did an awesome job with the warm and cool brown. The only thing I would change it the emptiness. There's no clutter or garbash or anything. That and the fact that the smoke is well organized (as if coming from a smoke stack instead of an out of control fire) makes me feel like this is a world that cared for and progressing, and for me that grates against the color palette. Personally, I think the sign of a strong piece is when you're able to nitpick over opinions like this. Very well done.

Hi and thank you for your inputs. I totaly agrea whit what you say.
I did keep it very basic and simple becose it was my first time
Using these mediums and this style. Im already working on a
New one whit more clutter. you can check it out in work in prog.
