Looking for some feedback/critiques on these fall trees

Postby agnieszka0715 » Thu Apr 25, 2013 11:38 am

Hello all,
I have been working on these fall trees and am starting to get burnt out on them. But I can't figure out if it's finished or if it still needs more. Have been asking friends and family but none of them are artists so their feedback hasn't been too helpful. Do y'all think this is done? Or do the leaves need more definition? Does the grass need more work? I feel like there's not much more I can do - but at the same time, when I look at it - something is missing.... Any thoughts??

RU kidding? It confirms my belief that
a good artist is never satisfied with their work
and actually requires peer feedback.
I can tell, whether you think it's finished or not, that
you need to walk away for a little bit.
I do think it's done and quite beautiful. Thank You, E

Yes, I agree with E. Leave this lovely artwork to one side for a while and then come back to it and see how you feel then.

As Dali said, "Never strive for perfection, you will never reach it!'

Don't be so hard on yourself. This is a fine artwork.

God bless and keep working!

It's beautiful, if Anything at all...I feel the light is to "white" in the background. You do wonderful work.
