Hello Spac,
I like the used of color and background here. As to the question about being ready to do artwork.
Well, you've already started. That's why you have found your way to this forum. It takes a little time. And a body of work to answer the deeper question.
It's all about staying power. And believeing in yourseft.
Anyone can go buy paints,
ushes and canvas. But it's somthing in the gut that makes an artist. And I've said this to many people.
If your born with the heart of an artist. Then you will paint and sculpt the rest of your life. No matter what.

i think this is great your patterns and color choices are wonderful! I would of liked to see at least one more of the forms in the front jump out like the one in the front corner I just love that. great work

Yes, you do have the "tools" to make a great artist. Just let it flow like you did here.

I love this type of art, with this piece, the colors and movement realy make the eye move around. The peace sign in the lower left does pop out.

Nice rendering, Spacinjay. For a new artist, I can say that you have a great eye for patterns and colors. And the peace sign below, whether intentional or not, is just a beautiful addition. Just keep on practicing and don't be afraid to share your work to others. In time, you'll learn everything you need to know and you'll be able to apply them all in your artworks.
