Hi Everyone,
Life's been crazy busy but good, finally I took time out to post my latest blue clematis. I started it in the work in progress section and felt I should post the final here.
After 6 different backgrounds I finally decided I liked this one best.
Very nice. Great job all around nice colors, excellent technique and everything in it's place. I hope you are showing and selling these...they need to be out and about!
What I lack in talent I more than make up for with enthusiasm!
Julie,
This one finished out very nicely!
It is exquisite!!!!!
I love everything, the colors, the crop, the detail, and I also like the BG you settled on!
BRAVO!!!!
Thanks everyone. I love flowers, when I was a wee one I used to just stare at them. I'd get lost in the color, texture and shapes. Who new all that "idle" time would be beneficial .
Micheal, as far as showing them I do that often. As far a selling them I'd like to be doing that a lot more . Next summer I plan on entering art fairs -so I'm working towards it.
Thanks again everyone for the encouragement. I've been way too busy with my "volunteer" job and I really need to get focused on the art business. It helps to get reinforcement especially from such talented people as you guys.
Karen, I've done a few large ones and enjoyed them so much. Funny thing is my easel is in a little 7.5 x 9 foot room so in order for me to see the big picture I have to take it downstairs to get a good look. I'll be doing lots more as I got a great deal at Blicks. I'm working on a rose now.
Please show the rose while working on it or when it's finished. I know how difficult they can be to paint. But you will do a fantastic job of it I'm sure.
