Very impresionistic(sp?) I think. But I do think that the water in the middle that is flowing down doesn't have much flow. Maybe its in the
ush strokes or maybe its just in the way I'm looking at it. I love the greenery and the trees. It is a great piece and I am looking forward to seeing more of your talent. ^.^

I agree with Saphyre about the flow. Other than that, it's beautifully painted and relaxing.

Beautiful use of colour.

I agree, very impressionistic.

And the river...technically not right and I think the same about the blue rocks.

Some appear to be 'floating' in mid air!

Could be my meds and my glasses.

Great use of colour again.

I agree with the above you have forgotten the true reflections of the rocks in the stream and you need to put more flow in the water. Leave the reflection of the trees as you have it right up there but not at the front..sorry

but the rocks and trees look
illiant i love it.

Hey Candies4u.
For your first landscape, you did very well. . I assume you work in oils. Your photo is a bit blown out, over exposed on the left but not enough to alter what I see. I do like the background. The color is nice and I really your painting style.
I see you have taken a few hits on the foreground work.
From my prospective you did somewhat miss the water color, rock positioning and shading necessary to make this look believable. However perhaps believable was not your goal? We do paint in completely different styles.
I do like yours. .
From all the individual
ush strokes, I assume you did some intense and time consuming work here. However you need to create a drawing that is maybe a bit more technically correct, and then apply your main colors with an understanding of how they compliment each other to create the illusion of depth, contrast and recognition of what I assume is a landscape but in your own unique style.
The very front of your foreground colors/ detail is absolutely stunning.
I think you might have something going on here.
