Thank you Erika! Your input is always important to me as you have such an ability of your own that I admire. I am striving to reach higher in my work, and I thank you for recognizing that attempt. Much appreciated.
Generally speaking, I know that some artist's, don't feel that a pet(in my case mainly dogs) portrait artist achieves much when painting a portrait(and yes...I mean one that can paint them well). However, it is much more difficult and challenging than one might think, as it isn't only the coloring of the fur, structure, etc. that needs to be portrayed. As any pet owner knows, each is unique and comes with their own expressive personalities and little quirks! And capturing those 'details' in a pet portrait is definately what makes it very challenging...and my passion!
