My first 2 paintings for a real competition....

Postby krysta11 » Sat Feb 28, 2009 4:42 am

Hello everybody,

I was not much here lately because I was painting. painting and painting....

I hardly believed, that my paintings will be done on time for the competition. The subject is Sir P. Edmund Strzelecki and Mt. Kosciuszko. I will not write story about it because it would take a lot of space and time here.
If anybody is interested will find everything about Australian Mountains in Wikipedia .

The most important thing is , that my images have been sent already for a competition.

Thank you for your comments. I love when you have your say about my work.
All the best to everyone

krysta

The colors on these works are very good. The skin tones are good. The deep blue in the sky is real good. The colors and details really make the work. Good luck.
Perfection is what drives an artist.
The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art.

Oh John,

Your reply makes me hope, that I am a potential winner.
I wish to have a thousand dollars of course but most of all I wish to be noticed and appreciated. Thank you very much J.

If you google Dr Ernestyna Skurjat- Kozek you will know everything about competition I entered.
