I work in a factory and I find myself with some free time when the machines are running good. So I grab whatever is at hand and do a quick piece (Magic markers and Post-its). So I have started a series I call Industrial. For 5 minutes I can forget about the 12 hour shift I am working and let my mind guide my hands to ighten up my day.
This seems to me to be the sounds of machinery at work. And in this one can see the working of machines and people. Color and form tells the story of men building. A shop is alive with life and work. And the machines are happy.
Perfection is what drives an artist. The inability to achieve perfection is what creates a work of art. John A. Barandon http://steelbronze.vpweb.com
