my 2nd acrylic

Postby Danny Heim » Sun Jun 22, 2008 9:14 pm

My second acrylic, very spontaeous abstract, done in seconds minus the backgruond, which is its down fall I think, the background that is, otherwise, I wish I could do strokes like this at will.

This is good. It says, "Love" to me -- a young love -- with all the turbulence that young love engenders. Very good. It's got the raw emotion, the furious drive, yet the delicacy.

And, as to demonic possession, NO. I believe that some of the best art is art which comes out in the flurry of passion, the flurry of release, sometimes in seconds, sometimes in minutes. One of my most successful watercolors was done is twenty-minutes flat, start to finish, and I'm talking a wall-sized piece. No demons about it. Just art -- raw creativity that catalyzes and precipitates from the artist onto canvas in one fell swoop.

Danny/DLK... forgive please; I was just kidding  I really do have a sense of humor; it's just that nobody understands me. Had I not been SO TIRED last night DLK would have been plagiarizing me today... I agree with every word. Well done DLK

Well, I apologize for missing the tongue in cheek. I've got a lot of fundamentalist Christians around me and they seriously object to my art "zone" when they get to watch me work. So, please forgive my counter.

I have looked at this piece several times and have figures out what it reminds me of. It reminds me of a womens summer bonnet that has been caught by the
eeze of a warm summer day. I just love it!!!
