"Manó" (pronounce Mah-noh) is the Hungarian word for goblin. They are somewhat different from their English counterparts. They’re present in Hungarian fairy tales and folklore, much adored by children as they are mischievious but very lovable, friendly creatures. So much so, a lot of parents love to nickname their little ones "Manó"!
I used a photo of my son for inspiration, so this piece is very personal to me. It's paper mache, about 5-6 inches high. I wanted to go for an aged stone look. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
