Abstract amateur

Hi Guys! I am totally amateur and just want to see what other people think about my stuff. I have been painting for like 10 years and don't really paint objects, more shapes and colors. My boyfriend called this one "Aqua Lounge"

Abstracts are really tough to critique. This has nice composition, but is a bit choppy. I wish the colors flowed a bit better, smoother. Other than that, nice work.

Even in abstracts the techniques should not change, the upside down skirt shape is very smooth,while the pillars and background are in motion. I personally like the motion effect, it gives a lot of life to the work. The only Thing to watch about the motion, is: make them complement in with each other.direction, consistency, etc.

Thanks again! I notice both these things better now as I see the picture of the painting more clearly.
