This is a forum where you can post your art work and ask what the world thinks. I am looking for general feedback, nothing too technical. A push in the right direction would be appreciated.

This is a drawing I did while bored. Comments and critiques are very welcome.

I have mixed feelings about the composition. I can't tell if its too cluttered, or if with the negative space, it is really balanced. Either way you got me to think so that's a plus. Good job. Art should make questions arise.

In response to the compositional issue...there doesn't seem to be much direction. It is a bit cluttered. Also, the objects lack proper shadowing. However, the first thing I thought about when looking at this was Cowboy Bebop for some reason...which is a good thing! A cool idea would be to put the objects within an environment, or at least add a table texture to whats already here!

In General - I like the composition. If I were to re-do or move things around, it would be in the top 3 items. they seem too diliberate in placement. Otherwise, I don't have a problem with the balance of Neg / Pos space. As for the peice as it is... its great work. I would suggest to work on the shading of the gun a bit more... Its still seems a bit 2-dimensional. work on getting it to lift off the page, paying attention to your light sources. But GREAT JOB! :)
