New here, im looking for artists.

Postby Braintree » Sat Feb 15, 2014 4:07 pm

I have a few pictures in my mind that i wish would be real paintings, i have one that i call essence of life

Its basicly a painting of a green yellow red blueish energy that is round and the energys meet. Its hard to explain I have the picture in my mind but i cannot express it with words.

Second is of my soul partner as i believe it to be called natasha http://share.pho.to/4lAfm Its basicly a photo taken from google, but i believe there is a special connection with me and the photo, since she represents "The voice of silence" and that picture just means alot to me, id love to see her more human and less fish like

Braintree,

I think your going about this all wrong.
If you open up with a request, it makes you sound like your begging.

The piece which you are requesting will almost certainly lead you to a frustrating episode (both for you, and the artist which you commission).
If you have some artistic insights, I would suggest that you first work to share those. This should help you discover, how you can better express this image which is stuck in your mind.

One thing I've noticed when conceptualizing work, is that an image can seem complete in my head, but be thoroughly lacking when placed onto paper. The fact is, most of "my art" is born from the process of "Creation", not the process of "Imagination".

In one of your request, you've titled this work yourself...
Please try to consider what liberties you leave to your "artist".
The fate of men, might weigh on me,
But I take that sin quite well,
Only cold wins, in the dark it seems,
But I hear there's warmth in hell...

Braintree,

In the Image you posted.

What exactly about this image appeals to you?
You said that she represents the "Voice of Silence". Was it this concept that leads you to like the image?
You said that you would like her to look "less like a fish". Does that mean a shorter nose, or a shorter face?
(Please try to use literal references to anatomy, not derogatory standards.)

I like the radiance of color presented in this image. I see it as the pictures central appealing factor.
What do you see as being most likable about this picture?

If you want to collaborate with another artist, I would suggest that you try to break things up into small portions, and that you be willing to make a few compromises, "for the greater good of the picture (remember "Compromise" not "Surrender").

Your goal should be to create something "Better than you could on your own", not to create "What you couldn't on your own".
The fate of men, might weigh on me,
But I take that sin quite well,
Only cold wins, in the dark it seems,
But I hear there's warmth in hell...
