My name is Robert from N.C. USA. I not an artist, but my Father had a nice collection of paintings. Some inherited from his Mother.
In another box of picture frames, a portrait of a young woman was found.
I'd like to share the photo with some of you professional artist, and see if anyone can put a date on the photo, based on the type clothing she is wearing, etc.
What forum would you recommend to post the photo?
I can tell you that from my point of view, a non artist, the person who did the portrait had a vein of talent, if not more.

I used to live in NC. I still get to visit family here and there. It's always nice to see artists from back home (even if this is about paintings you found). I seem to come across more after I leave a state I used to live in.
