Can you please tell me exactly what the error message is? Also, are you using a phone, tablet or computer to upload the image?

Re: Hi! (+ important question)

Hi Valentin,

Welcome to ASC. To answer your question, there are many websites that do exactly what you are doing. So how will you differentiate from them? Why is your service worth $84 per year?

all the best,
Joe

Re: How do I procced

I recommend you mix a nice sky background color (variations of blue) with a little water (perhaps one quarter to one third the amount of paint) to make a wash. That will make a nice background for this image.

Re: Let The Games Begin

Hey Cristo, I added your image using BB Code. Since you have the image in your gallery, all you need to do is put the image link (not the link where your image is located, but the link of the image) inside the image tags like this: [img]http://asingularcreation.com/Gallery/albums/userpics/20198/norm...

Re: Boil Linseed Oil

I use a very simple medium that works very well. 3 parts turpentine - 2 parts linseed oil - 1 part damar varnish. I do not use a drier. Linseed oil is linseed oil. I don't think it matters if you got it at a hardware store.

Re: Boil Linseed Oil

John, I just don't know, unfortunately. Your paint colors are fine - doesn't look like anything is affected! I may end up doing what you do! And what about damar varnish? It is ridiculously priced as well! I've been all over town trying to find Damar Matte varnish- the only Damar Matte is in spray ...

Re: Uncertainty

I recommend to not use crayons. I understand you might be comfortable using them, but they create an unprofessional look, rather amateur in my opinion. The finish is not as polished with crayons. You will get a much cleaner and more refined finish with colored pencil or pastel.
