Re: video-games are still a form of art

You are very right. Artists create everything on the surface of all of that programming in a video game. Without the artists there would be no visual appeal and the games would not exist.

Re: Would like critique on my work

Hi Heidi,

I went to your website and grabbed the image for you. I like the texture and flow. It is very nice. For giggles, I rotated the image 90 degrees counterclockwise and I love it. Try it to see what I mean.

all the best,
Joe

Re: Would like critique on my work

I like the aesthetic lines and overall composition. But it is really difficult to critique this as the image is very small and I cannot make out the detail. Could you upload a larger version?

Re: Pastel portrait of Cara Delevingne. Any good?

I see what you are trying to do and like the color added. But I do have an issue with the final execution. It appears smudgy and rushed. You need to figure out a way to apply the yellow-peach to this without smearing all over the black. It definitely needs to be cleaner and more crisp. This could be...

Re: Sunset Alley - Paste on cardboard

I love the color and energy of this. I would like to see it a bit more technically sound and cleaner. Of course, I am sure that will all come as you keep producing works. Keep them coming.

Re: Research for painting series on 'being remembered'

I think this is a fantastic project. And this quote by you "Being remembered, recording and preserving our lives and history" is what it is all about. Bravo!
