About Me: I am a self-taught color pencil artist living and working in Midwest of the USA. I specialize in creating realistic colored pencil drawings. I have extensive professional experience of drawing people, animals, everyday objects and more.

The beginning of my love for drawing was while in public school. I was able to create new lands and places where I felt I could escape. I was encouraged by my High School art teacher to try different mediums and techniques. I continued to draw after High School and while I served in the US Navy. I was drawing tattoo designs for my shipmates. After servicing, I took some college classes in the Art and Illustration where I learned how to put together what I previously learned in High School and on my own.

As I began my adult life, started a family and a career outside of illustrating and designing. I spent less time drawing and working my different techniques, to the point of boxing up my art supplies and taking down my drawing table, that I had since i was 16.

In 2008, I ran across a college student who was displaying her work of homeless people and a ministry opportunity in the Boston area. I began thinking, I should start drawing again even if just for my pleasure. At the same time Art Instructional School contacted me about thru their art school. I did complete in in 2010, where I was encouraged with different awards in the yearly contest. I have also entered local art shows and received awards for my Color Pencils drawing/paintings.

I'm now in a position where I can devote more time to my drawing and putting into effect all I have learned in the last 25 years. I know I will enjoy creating illustration for you of your pets, family members or what ever you have in mind.
