About Me: For me art is an expression of the soul....I have been an artist I guess all my life. I sold a painting of a parrot when I was 11 years old and knew that was it for me. Nothing else would ever do but to be an artist. I studied art and photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I received a degree in photography. I have a studio where I do digital retouch and restoration for professional photographers. I didn't much care for being a photographer my self except for doing reference work for my art.
I do some teaching of adult classes in drawing for the local library and have had the opportunity to show my work now and then. Have even sold a few pieces. ha ha. I also do portraits of people and pets on commission.
