Permanent Linkby AnnaRoberts on Fri Dec 07, 2018 8:31 am

The main purpose of a case study is walking a reader through a situation where a problem is presented, its background information has been provided, a solution of the problem is given and how it was derived. Mostly, a case study is written to motivate the reader to come up with his/her own way of solving the problem or to review the solution that was given. The primary goal of the writer is to offer the reader with experiences that are similar to those the writer had while he/she researched the situation presented.

There are a few steps that must be taken before writing a case study, they include:

- Choose a situation on which to write

- Gather sufficient information about the situation

- Examine elements that surround the situation

- Conclude on the final solution

- Gather information about why the implemented solution worked or did not work

From these guidelines, you will be able to create an awesome case study.

1. Choose a case

You should choose a case on which to write about depending on the type of your case study, that can either be single instrumental, multiple or intrinsic. However, if you have specified instructions, ensure that your case study is appropriate for your research question.

2. Give background

Background information is what was discovered to determine why there is a problem. This information comprises of facts and figures from authoritative sources. Photos, graphs, charts, audio files, tables or any material that points out to the problem is useful here. Also, anecdotal information and quotes from interviews can be used.

3. Determine the type of case study

Different case studies such as explanatory, exploratory and descriptive involve distinct strategies and methods. Therefore, before starting on your case study, it is important that you determine what type of case study you are planning on producing.

4. Collect and Analyze Data

The process of collecting data is similar to all types of case studies. They all involve observation, asking questions, interviewing people and reading numerous documents. However, on the other hand, analyzing the collected data can be done in various ways. For instance, gathered data in a single instrumental case study is categorized into themes. For a multiple case study, analyzing data involves two steps; looking for common themes in each case and examining them separately and the second step is looking for connections between common themes in diverse cases.

5. Telling the Whole Story

Writing an awesome case study involves telling a whole story of a problem that has been fixed. The main focus is on the problem and the different ways that were used in creating a solution. The writing style directs the readers on how the problem was analyzed as if they were part of the case study.

Writing a case study is no joke, and it may take you several sleepless nights to finish it. And still, you do not have the guarantee that your instructor will appreciate your efforts. That is why any essay writing service is offering do my paper paper solution, get your case study done!
