I am really excited about this on line class. Being offered for only $9.00 US. Hope to see you there.

Knowing how to edit and manipulate photos is a great help when you are planning your painting. If you can quickly edit the photo to add, move and remove items or change colours, it makes your life a lot easier while painting. You then dont have to try and visualise and remember all the changes, you can actually see exactly what you are painting on the screen.
In this live online art class you will learn:
1) How to crop your photos to fit the proportions of your canvas
2) How to edit out unwanted items like a pole in from of your focal point
3) How to move items around, like move a tree to the right for better composition
4) How to add in items from another photo in the photo you want to paint...

I would like to introduce myself.

J Michael Moyer 1941- I love to paint.....at 70 I must be an OLD MASTER.. I was raised in the Northwest in a family of artists. My grandparents lived in Chicago and during the summer months my brother and I would spend the summers studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. It was during this time there was a National contest for a new logo that represented the natural gas companies and one of the three submissions that I entered won first place and is still to this day the natural gas flame that is used in their advertising. After a hitch in the Navy I remained in California painting and studying with top artists of the 60's showing my works at Galleries in Carmel, Cannery Row, Monterey along with Sun Valley, Idaho. I have works in numerous Museums, including the Smithsonian, Monac and the Big House on Pennsylvaniaia Ave. I am an associate member of Oil Painters of America, OPA and the founding member of PAPI Plein Air Painters of Idaho plus the Artists...
