You gotta love it
I had a friend who only bought art for the resale value - if they were "known artists" ...then it was "good" even though he didn't really like it. I totally disagree. You need to love it to put it on your walls, otherwise you will stop looking at it ... and to that I say ...what is the point? To all us unknown artists out there... he, and others like him, won't buy your work (as he never even wanted one of mine - even for free - due to my lack of recognition in the art world) but thank goodness not all art buyers are that snobby!
