Art House Call for Entries - A Million Little Pictures: Documentary
Deadline: Wednesday, July 1
1,000 artists documenting 1,000 lives from around the world. Art House is looking for 1,000 people from around the world to receive 1000 disposable cameras. We'll mail the camera to you to document your life in 24 exposures and then you simply send us back the prints. Not only will we have the exhibition here in Atlanta, we will also travel to the city with the most participants. Soooooo, tell your friends, mom, sister, cousin, or whoever to sign up. 2009 Digital Art LA Call for Artists
Deadline: Monday, July 20
The L.A. Center for Digital Art announces an international call to artists. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to their creation are acceptable: digital art stills of any kind, digital photogaphy, short experimental time based video, video loops, mobile media, interactive media, and internet art. Selected winners will be exhibited as the central focus of the DigitalArt.LA expo in a large group exhibit at the LACDA gallery, August 13 - September 5, 2009. Video winners will also be screened at the Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles. The show will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artists. read more
8th Annual Summer All Media Juried Online International Art Exhibition

The Upstream People Gallery presents an exhibition with 12 month's gallery representation, from August 1, 2009 through July 31, 2010, with approximately 900,000 hits each month. Open to all artists worldwide. Studio Visit - Spring 2010 Edition - Call for Entries

Studio Visit, now introducing its fifth competition, is a nationally focused publication that presents all two- and three-dimensional work. Each volume includes approx. 150 artists. Each selected artist will be provided with one full page that will include a full color image, contact information and a brief artist statement. The publication is juried by a professional curator and produced to the highest quality standards and can be used as a valuable promotional tool. Once published, Studio Visit is mailed to 2,000 of the nation's top galleries and curators and a growing subscriber base. Still Point Art Gallery invites submissions from emerging and established artists for its upcoming exhibition: Autumnal Tints. This exhibition is not solely about a time of year. This exhibition is about color, the plush, sometimes fiery, sometimes soothing and subtle, colors of autumn. Two-Point Perspective, Depth, and Accuracy - by Richard Kennedy
Two-point perspectives differ from one-point perspectives in their use of a second vanishing point. They also differ in another way: two-point perspectives never have horizontal lines. All lines except verticals are drawn to a vanishing point. Their are many ways to draw two-points, the best methods being ones we can easily remember and apply to the design process with relative quickness.
